Hello, thank you very much for joining us. My name is Yumi. I’m happy to be your guide. Japan has many beautiful places, attractive facilities, and wonderful natural landscapes. Tokyo, for example, offers both modern buildings and traditional sites. I can show you the places you want to see. I used to be an elementary school teacher, and during holidays, I often traveled abroad. The local people I met were always nice and kind. They helped me a lot. When I got lost, they would even take me to my destination. I’ve never forgotten their kindness and really wanted to return the favor. That’s why I became a guide.
I guide both group tours and private tours. For group tours, I often visit the 5th station of Mt. Fuji and the surrounding areas, including the five lakes and beautiful ponds. Weather permitting, you can see the stunning Mt. Fuji. On longer tours, I visit Kyoto, Osaka, Kanazawa, and Hiroshima. These cities have many attractive places, including shrines, temples, castles, and traditional Japanese gardens. Customers sometimes experience traditional activities such as tea ceremonies, Zazen meditation at temples, and Wadaiko, Japanese drumming. These experiences will create unforgettable memories that last a lifetime.
On the other hand, when I guide private tours, I prioritize the customer’s needs. If you want to see a great view of the city, how about visiting Tokyo Skytree or the Metropolitan Government Building? You will enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Tokyo. If you’re interested in hiking, I recommend Mt. Takao. Even from a bustling area like Shinjuku, you can reach Mt. Takao in just one hour by train and enjoy a hike. Even if you have limited time, we can visit both modern cityscapes and traditional neighborhoods in Tokyo. I always try to accommodate your requests.
My major is music, and I’m also interested in Japanese history. If you’re interested, I’d be happy to tell you about traditional Japanese performances like Kabuki and Noh. These performances might even spark your interest in Japanese kimonos. Renting a kimono during your stay in Japan could be a wonderful experience.
Speaking of food, I love Japanese cuisine, especially sushi and sashimi. I often visit Tsukiji Fish Market with my customers. There are many food stalls, restaurants, and souvenir shops. You’ll find fresh seafood such as tuna, scallops, and oysters, which you can enjoy on the spot. Even if you don’t like raw fish, you’ll still enjoy other foods like skewered beef and vegetables. I also highly recommend Japanese ice cream. There are many flavors to choose from, such as vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, matcha, lavender, and more. Let’s enjoy Japanese food together! I’m looking forward to guiding you.
See you soon!
Thank you
