Nice to meet you.
I am a tour operator mainly in Kyoto, Osaka and Nara.
Studied psychology at university and used to work in education, I specialise in tours with children.
I also have an EIKEN Level 1 and a TOEIC score of 960, so I can discuss a variety of topics in English.
Born and raised in Japan, I have hated Japan at times, but I have loved Japan at the same time. Where is the world heading? In today’s chaotic world, I am always thinking about what I can do as a tour guide.
I offer tours that are humanistic, a world apart from the information provided by the internet and AI.
Japan has many characteristics, but one of the most important is the spirituality of Shintoism. This is a respect for nature that the Japanese people have held since ancient times. This spirituality is one of the reasons why there is no litter on Japanese streets.
Together, let’s find something new in this island called Japan. Thank you for reading.
I look forward to meeting you, and hope to see you soon.

Even it was a last minute request, it was handled professionally: guide was AMAZING. Knowledgeable, great sense of humor, very respectful, master of storytelling. Yoshi went above and beyond, and considering that it was multi-generation family trip (us, our parents and our son), he was interacting with all of us. Son is happy, parents too, thank you.
