YogiMari

Hello, I’m Mari.

For over 25 years, I worked for Japanese television networks, translating international news and conducting research and fact-checking. This experience taught me the importance of accuracy, curiosity, and looking at the world from different perspectives.

Over the years, I also had the opportunity to live in France, Singapore, and the United States while accompanying my husband’s overseas assignments and raising our three sons. Living abroad gave me a deeper appreciation of cultural differences and helped me see Japan through the eyes of international visitors.

Today, as a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter, my goal is not simply to show you Japan, but to help you understand why Japan is the way it is.

Whether we’re exploring famous temples, peaceful gardens, vibrant cities, or quiet countryside, I’ll share the history, culture, traditions, and everyday life that make Japan unique.

I believe the best tours are conversations, not lectures. Please feel free to ask as many questions as you like.

I look forward to sharing the beauty, stories, and spirit of Japan with you.
