My name is Utaka Sasaki, but please call me UTA — a name that means “song” in Japanese.
I specialize in guiding visitors through Tomonoura, a historic port town located on the eastern edge of Hiroshima Prefecture. Tomonoura has flourished since ancient times, and its charming old-townscape still remains beautifully preserved today.
One of the local specialties you can enjoy here is Houmeishu, a unique medicinal liqueur found only in this region.
In addition to Tomonoura, I also guide tours in Onomichi, my beloved hometown.
