I’m Toshiko, a tour guide in Tokyo.
I like meeting people and showing them around Tokyo.
When I went to university in Japan, I got a scholarship to study abroad for a year at an American college. After graduating from a Japanese university, I worked for a company that deals with study-abroad programs and had many opportunities to go abroad to take care of students. It was a fun experience to go abroad and meet new people.
I came to think that I wanted to learn more about Japan because when I was abroad, I sometimes had trouble answering questions about Japan. These questions were things that were so obvious to me that I never thought about them. However, I have come to realize that such questions are actually what people overseas want to know. With this in mind, I have been reviewing Japan and guiding many people from overseas.
I would like to share my experience and knowledge with you. I would like to make your trip very special and memorable.
