Hello. My name is Setsuko. It is a pleasure to meet you.
I was born and raised in Tokyo, and I live near the Tsukiji Outer Market. In my free time, I enjoy walking around Tsukiji, Ginza, Tokyo Station, the Imperial Palace, Tsukishima, famous for monjayaki, and the traditional neighborhoods of Ueno, Yanaka, and Nezu. I also enjoy introducing visitors to hidden cafés, small back streets, and local izakaya that many tourists might otherwise miss.
One of my lifelong passions is horseback riding. I have been riding for more than 30 years. Besides riding in the arena, I especially enjoy horseback riding along the beautiful coastline of the Boso Peninsula in Chiba.
It is a great privilege to spend part of your journey in Japan with you. I hope to help make your time here both enjoyable and memorable, and I look forward to sharing not only Japan’s famous landmarks, but also the stories and local experiences that make this city so special.
