Kyoto/Osaka-centralized national licensed guide (English). Japanese; was born/raised in Japan, and have been working as a guide(interpreter/translator) for travelers from over 35 countries with my travel experience in Japan as well as overseas:visited more than 50 countries. When I have time, I enjoy walking around the town and touring the small islands, visiting cafes and talking to locals. I try to experience a variety of travel, from family-run guest houses to high-end hotels, as time and budget allow. I have a deep interest in traditional crafts, kintsugi, fermentation including sake, and terroir. For several years now, I have been visiting places connected to these subjects and engaging in activities to deepen my knowledge as a guide.Sometimes I teach Japanese. I also value relaxing time in my daily life based on zen, especially when it comes to food and art including gardens appreciation. Wherever possible, I try to be flexible and adapt to your physical condition, previous travel experiences and preferences. While guiding, I always wish we can share a happier time together.
