Great day at Himeji
I had a great day with Noboru as my guide, he has a great knowledge of the castle and its defences, exactly what I was looking for. He put together the itinerary I was interested in, with the tour also including the nearby Koko-en garden and Engyo-ji temple via the Mt. Shosha ropeway. The tour was well paced, and I learnt a lot about the area and its history, thanks Noburu! I definitely recommend the tour for anyone interested in learning more about the castle and the area.

My son (11) and I were visiting Kyoto, and we took a day trip to Himeji. Our guide, Noboru Sugishima, was fantastic. He met us right at the train station and showed us around Himeji Castle, the gardens, and even took us to a tea ceremony - all three of which were great. He was very knowledgeable about Japanese history and the history of Himeji Castle. It was a great way to learn a bit about Japan and appreciate Himeji Castle in a more meaningful way than we would have on our own. If you can choose a guide, I highly recommend Noboru!

The castle we visited today was one of the coolest experiences of my life. Our guide, Noboru was one of the nicest & most passionate people I’ve ever met. Immediately made my friend and i feel welcomed and exited to explore Himeji. He was extremely knowledgeable & informative. Any question we had he had an answer for. Couldn’t recommend this enough.
