I obtained my national certification as a licensed tour guide in 2009.
I was born and grew up in Tokyo.
During my college years in Tokyo, I spent two years studying political science in the United States.
Having grown up in the area where two fish markets are located in Tokyo,
Tsukiji Market was a familiar presence in my life.
Therefore, I have led mainly about 130 early-morning tours of the Toyosu and Tsukiji Markets over the past year.
I have received many positive reviews and now guide with confidence.
My other areas of expertise include the Tokyo National Museum, Senso-ji Temple, Kappabashi and the Imperial Palace.
My greatest joy is carefully guiding international visitors through Tokyo’s wonderful tourist attractions and seeing them enjoy their experience.

Must do when in Japan! Covered so many locations with subway travel that we would not have been able to were it not for our excellent guide Mr NOBBY (Shinobu H)!
There was clear communication via WhatsApp from the onset, a Tokyo local with US Education, we learned of Japan's culture, religious, and history. He took our group photos as well, led us to Shinjuku at the end of the trip for us to explore and taught us which train route to take back to our Airbnb. He answered our many questions and was polite and considerate the whole time. We walked 17k+ steps! Must book an excellent tour guide on a foreign country! Shout out also to our agency JGA who accommodated our change in schedule at the last minute.
