Hi, everyone. I am really happy to write to you about myself on this opportunity. My name is Motoko Taguchi, but call me “Moto”. It is a similar sound to “motto” in English” I am originally from Aichi ,Japan and I currently live in Sapporo. Thanks to my husband’s job I lived in Tokyo, Akita, Aomori, Nagoya and Sapporo where we finally settled down.
I have been working as a housewife for 42 years, focusing on happiness , health and success of my family and building nice relationships with neighbors and in -laws.I really enjoy connecting people through PTA activities, volunteer work and moving. I also like meeting new people not only in Japan , but also abroad. I have had wanted to tell visitors about Japan and to show them beauty of it. So I made a decision to be a tour guide. In 2018 I was registered as a Japan certified International Guide. I have no experience as a guide yet.So l started joining volunteer activities last year. Those experiences help me understand how to serve customers and make up for lack of skills.
In my free time, I love working out at the gym six or five days a week. I run a free English speaking club with my friends. I practice English to improve English conversation skills. Taking pictures by my phone is my hobby too.Japan has four seasons. I can find amazing and beautiful
flowers , birds and wild animals during traveling. I believe that those hobbies help me keep active and healthy. am also
passionate about learning Japanese histories , cultures and traditions, which is why I became interested in guiding.l just want to talk about and share the things which I am passionate about.
