My name is Mitsuhiko Takada, a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter (English). Former professor of Ryukoku University (Sociology), currently the lecturer for University of the Air, Japan. Graduated from Keio University, majoring in Japanese History at Faculty of literature and gained master’s degree at The Graduate school of Kyoto University with a specialty of Educational Sociology. Assigned as a social studies teacher, a principal, and as a professor for a long time in my career, I am proficient of conducting excursions, field works, and overnight trips with young people as well as excellent risk management skills by a long teaching experience. I will l welcome you to the wonderful world of Japanese history with a knowledge of tangible and intangible cultural assets of Japan such as shrine and temples, castles. Groups of Traditional buildings, the festivals, the traditional performing arts, traditional sports and traditional foods. Qualified as an authorized curator. Living in Shiga prefecture, I am very good at guiding in and out of Shiga prefecture with lots of sightseeing spots such as Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Hyogo, etc. Let us have fun in sightseeing old historical places together!
