Hello!
My name is Manabu, a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter.
I love sharing the beauty, history, and culture of Japan with visitors from around the world.
What I enjoy most about being a guide is meeting people from different countries and helping them discover the Japan that they may not find in a guidebook. I believe that traveling is not only about seeing famous places, but also about understanding the stories, traditions, and people behind them.
In my free time, I have a special hobby: walking along Japan’s old roads and historic trails. I enjoy following the paths once traveled by samurai, merchants, pilgrims, and ordinary people. These walks have taught me that every road has a story, and that history becomes much more interesting when you actually walk through the places where it happened.
I would be happy to share these stories even in the urban areas with you and introduce both the famous sights and the hidden treasures of Japan. I hope your journey with me will be enjoyable, memorable, and a little more meaningful, while leaving the details to me.
