Hello and welcome to Japan. My name is Kimiko. I grew up and have spent most of my life in Tokyo. I lived for a year in Yamaguchi, at the westernmost tip of the main island and five years in Birmingham, UK in my younger years.
I love breathing nature but also the creative energy of towns and cities of this country. I enjoyed learning from local people when I lived and traveled abroad, and I am currently devoted to welcoming guests to Tokyo from all over the world. I have also been involved in Ninja and Samurai experiences and enjoy sharing Japanese culture with guests.
Tokyo is a large metropolis constantly changing with new stories and landscapes while there are some historical sites. You can discover something new each time you visit this place. I am happy to show you must-visit places as well as hidden gems.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any specific requests, preferences, or dietary requirements. You are more than welcome to leave the plan to me, too. I will send you the proposed itinerary in advance and flexibly tailor our tour to suit your interests, physical condition, and the weather.
There are historical sites, beautiful gardens, vibrant markets, fashionable streets, trendy hubs for subculture, serene shrines and temples, towns reminiscent of old Tokyo, and so on. Depending on the tour duration, I can guide you through the city’s ‘hidden layers,’ from authentic gardens to vibrant local markets.”
