Hello, my name is Katsue Kobayashi.
I was bornin Kobe, and now I live in Osaka Prefecture.
I came to like studying English when I was a junior high school student. I had the first experience of being able to communicate with an English teacher from the United States in person, tough just a short sentence. That was the first time that I realized that making myself understood could be possible and very fun.
Now as a guide I have enjoyed communicating with people with different cultures. I really like being a tour guide.
I have guided many places, including Kyoto, Nara, Osaka, Kobe, Himeji, Koya-san, Hiroshima, Ise and other places.
My interests are diverse, ranging from Japanese history in genera, Japanese gardens, castles, Buddhists statues, Japanese arts including crafts, Japanese paintings, especially Ukiyoe, and tea ceremoney.
I also like hiking in the fields or mountains. I have guided Yamanobe-no-michi, an ancient road in Nara, and Kumano Kodo in Wakayama Prefectrue. I like guiding Koya-san, too.
I am happy to make my guests happy!
