I was born in west suburb of Tokyo and living in Tokyo to this day.
When I was a student, well it’s a bit long time ago, I had a chance to study in United States. I had wonderful experience there; everyone was so kind to me and I have brought back lots of good memories.
I have long worked at Japanese financial institution, but, I could not forget that experience, and after retiring from work one and half year ago, I felt that it’s my turn to be of your help! Hoping to assist you bringing back nice memories of your stay in Japan, I started to guide foreign tourists.
Tokyo looks very modern now, but it has lots of history and traditions in it, I guess this is one of the reasons that attracts so many people from foreign countries, There are so many places to visit, some of my favorite places are; Tsukiji outer market, where you can encounter all kinds of Japanese foods and casual place to taste, Ningyo-cho area, sophisticated district of downtown Tokyo.
Although densely populated, Tokyo has many temples and shrines such as Meiji-Jingu shrine, Sensoji temple, or Gotokuji and also, beautiful gardens are maintained, Koishikawa Korakuen Gardens, Rikugien Gardens, or Hama-rikyu Gardens. And in the very center of Tokyo, Remains of Edo castle and East garden of Imperial palace waits you to come.
