Hello. My name is Kaori Hisano. Please call me Kaori or Kei. I am happy to work for you in the Kansai area during your time here. I’ve worked as a tour guide for over 15 years using several languages. I am passionate about this job as I like communicating with foreign visitors, showing our beautiful cities including Kyoto, Nara and Osaka and talking about Japanese history and culture. I like traveling, reading books, watching American sitcoms and movies. I also play the piano, but seldom have time currently as I am dedicated and focused more on my work. I have a 20 year old son. (You can guess my age) My husband works in India for an Electrical appliance company. Sometimes I get lonely, but generally I enjoy my life and freedom” When I was young, I lerned the Japanese tea ceremony over a period of 8 years from my aunt a tea ceremony sensei. My favorite mantra is “Ichigo-Ichie” – “Treasure every meeting, for it will never recur”. These are the words from the great Japanese tea master Sen-no-Rikyu. I am really looking forward to meeting you soon!
