Hello everyone, nice to meet you! I’m Jun, a travel guide here in Japan.
I was born in a small countryside town surrounded by mountains and rivers. After working in the city for a while, I moved back to my hometown and started working as a travel guide.
Generally, I take visitors to local sake breweries, craft art studios, castles, parks—you name it! It’s been just under a year since I started, but I really enjoy chatting with new people and always try to explain things clearly and in a friendly way.
Japan is full of amazing places, but if you ask me, the real gems aren’t in the big cities—they’re out in the countryside. Even though Japan is a small country, it’s packed with tall mountains, winding rivers, and countless local communities shaped by the land itself.
Each region has its own unique culture and way of life, and that’s what makes exploring them so special. Of course, you’ll find delicious food and beautiful nature, but what I really want to share is the charm of rural Japan—where the people and places reflect a deep, uniquely Japanese sensibility. See this wonderland and explore it with me!
P.S. I’m also certified as a medical interpreter, so if you ever feel unwell during the tour, please don’t hesitate to let me know. I’m here to help
