Hello! I’m Hitomi. I was born and raised in Kagoshima. After graduating from the college, I mostly lived in Tokyo and came back to my hometown 10 years ago. I love communicating with people and sharing each other’s culture and history. As I used to work for an airline company, I could travel to many foreign countries with lots of joy experiencing their unique cultures. Now, I want to help visitors from abroad enjoy Japanese unique culture, history, nature.
Through my experience as an interpreter guide, I have been thinking, learning, and practicing on a daily basis how to guide customers to their satisfaction. I aim to continue to grow and improve as an interpreter guide. I was trained as an international airline flight attendant to provide better service to customers in my 20s . I would like to utilize the service spirit I acquired at that time in my interpreter guide work. The more I learn about and understand Japanese history, culture and nature, the more I am fascinated by Japan’s uniqueness, its interestingness, and its depth. I strive to convey this to visitors to Japan in a fun and easy-to-understand way. I am also actively working as an interpreter guide in new areas.
