Hi, my name is Hiroko. I’m an English tour guide based in Tokyo.
I was born and raised in a small town about 50 miles north of Tokyo. Then when I was 19, I moved to Tokyo to study at university and ever since I’ve been living in Tokyo.
Before becoming a tour guide in 2019, I worked for an international airline for over 30 years. After retiring from the airline, I decided to be a tour guide because, firstly, I enjoyed meeting new people, secondly, I wanted to help foreign travelers better understand my country, and thirdly, I loved traveling myself. I’ve been to 46 countries and traveled to all the 47 prefectures in Japan. So, I’m hoping that my extensive travel experience will make me an excellent tour guide.
My goal is to provide travelers with the most memorable experience here in Japan. I’ll try my very best to achieve that goal.
