Hello, I am Hiro. I with be your guide for your next trip. I was born and brought up in Wakayama and I still live there. I worked for Wakayama Prefectural Government before and I retired six years ago. I had been in charge of cultural property management and Koya and Kumano World Heritage (Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range). I am very good at cultural properties, World Heritage sites and cultures. I also worked for a Japanese governmental organization in NYC when I was in the 30s.
I began English guiding service in Wakayama and Osaka after I retired. I had some difficult times during the covid but I am doing very busy these days.

An Exceptional Full-day Tour of Kyoto
Our tour of Kyoto with Hiro was a highlight of our recent trip to Japan. We spent eight full hours visiting temples, shrines, and historical sites, mostly in the Higashiyama and Gion areas, including Fushimi Inari Taisha, Kiyomizu-dera, Sanjusangen-do, Kennin-ji, and other spectacular places. Hiro is an exceptionally knowledgeable guide with a comprehensive expertise on Japanese history and the cultural significance of the sites we visited.
