Hello! My name is Emiko Tanaka. Call me Emiko, or Emily. I started working as a tour guide last year though I took my foreign friends and acquaintances to Tokyo, Yokohama, Kamakura and Hakone and showed them around in those cities many times before. I used to work as an English teacher for many years and enjoyed teaching but I decided to start a second life as a tour guide. I like traveling, going on a hike in the mountains, hip hop dancing and making sweets. I find it interesting and attractive to take you foreign visitors to temples, shrines, tourist spots, beautiful mountains, nice restaurants and so on. If there’s enough time and your schedule suits, actual experience of unique Japanese cultures such as tea ceremony, calligraphies, Zen meditation would be unforgettable and impressive . I’m happy that a lot of tourists around the world are attracted to Japan and are interested in its history, culture, tourists spots and cuisine.
