Emi

Emi was born and raised in Nara, the ancient capital of Japan. She holds a degree in foreign studies. After becoming a tour guide in 2009, Emi moved to Kyoto and now lives in a traditional machiya townhouse, just five minute walk from a Zen Buddhism monastery well know as the birthplace of traditional tea ceremony with a history over 500 years. She is a member of the Kyoto traditional musical art foundation and enjoys attending lots of geisha events every year.
On her days off she spends time with her sons and husband, both very active in cycling and running. Guided days with Emi are lively and energetic, matching her personality perfectly.
