Hello, konnichiwa, Welcome to Japan, Nihon ni Yokoso ( 日本🇯🇵にようこそ）My name is Atsuko Ando, Please called me Atsuko or Ako.
I first worked as a tour guide from 1981 to 1988 with Fujita Travel in Japan.
From 1994 to 2020, I taught in Portland, Oregon, as a bilingual immersion teacher for Japanese and English.
After returning to Japan in 2023, I have been guiding both group and private tours, mainly in the Kansai area and across Japan.
I truly enjoy sharing Japan’s rich culture, history, and nature with visitors from around the world.
Through these experiences, I believe we can learn from each other’s languages and cultures.
