What Is a Private Guided Tour of Aizu Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were visitors from South America with a personal connection to the Aizu region as an ancestral homeland. At Iimoriyama, the guests listened with great interest to the tragic history of Aizu during the Boshin War, as well as the explanation of Sazaedo, a rare architectural structure found nowhere else in the world. At the samurai residence, they enjoyed learning about the daily life of samurai in the past, and at Tsuruga Castle, they were captivated by the beauty of the castle keep, its historical role, and the stories of the successive feudal lords. The guests also enjoyed shopping at a lacquerware shop in Aizu, an area famous nationwide for its high-quality lacquerware. Above all, the guests love Japanese cuisine, and they were delighted to enjoy wappa-meshi, a traditional dish of Aizu, which they found delicious.

I am an experienced tour guide mainly for FIT tours.
I have also guided several tours on this website.

Aizu, Sendai, and Matsushima are very popular sightseeing spots for foreign travelers.

They have different charms from other areas, such as Tokyo, Kyoto.

I hope to help you enjoy the scenic beauty away from the hustle and bustle of the city, historical sights, unique samurai culture, local delicacies and wonderful traditional art craft.

I will customize the best plan for you according to your requests and make your trip a special and memorable one.
