Title: What's a Full-Day Private Tokyo Tour Like? Meiji Shrine, Asakusa, and Ginza — A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were a friendly group visiting from Oceania. Since it was their first time in Japan, they wished to see both historical and modern sides of the city. At Meiji Shrine, preparations for the chrysanthemum festival were underway, and a few chrysanthemum displays were already on view. Afterward, we looked at the animal cafes along Takeshita Street, and the guests were surprised by the pig cafe. From the Shibuya Scramble Crossing we headed to Asakusa, where they enjoyed the ramen they had been hoping to try. We were lucky to get into the restaurant without much of a wait, and the guests finished both their gyoza and ramen. After taking a break in Ginza with matcha and sweets, we checked out the locations of a stationery store and a shopping complex before parting ways at Shinjuku Station. They had such wonderful smiles, and it was a very enjoyable tour.

A notable stop on the tour was Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa. Senso-ji is Tokyo's oldest temple, founded in the 7th century, and is one of the city's most visited landmarks. Visitors approach the main hall through the iconic Kaminarimon (Thunder Gate) and walk along Nakamise-dori, a lively shopping street lined with stalls selling traditional snacks and souvenirs. The area blends centuries of history with the bustling energy of modern Tokyo, making it a popular destination for travelers seeking a taste of old Japan.
