Title: What's a Full-Day Private Nagasaki Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

We met at the Hotel at 10:00. First, we took the tram to Suwa Shrine, where the guests enjoyed the view. We then took the tram to Peace Park and the Atomic Bomb Museum, where I explained the damage caused by the atomic bombing. Nearby, the guests tried champon and kakuni manju (braised pork buns). Next, we took the tram to Stadium South and rode the ropeway up to the Mount Inasa Observation Deck. The guests told me it was the most fun they had ever had in their life. We then took the bus to the Confucius Shrine, where I explained the influence of Chinese culture, and afterward visited Glover Garden, where I explained its connection with Mitsubishi. A notable stop on the tour was Glover Garden in Nagasaki. Glover Garden is an open-air museum built on a hillside overlooking Nagasaki Harbor, featuring the former residences of foreign merchants who lived in the city during the late nineteenth century. It is named after Thomas Glover, a Scottish merchant who played a significant role in Japan's modernization and industrial development. The garden offers beautiful views of the harbor and preserves several historic Western-style houses, making it one of Nagasaki's most popular landmarks and a lasting symbol of the city's history as an international trading port.
