What Does a Full-Day Private Tour of Tokyo Cover? A Licensed Guide's Report on Asakusa, the Imperial Palace, and Meiji Shrine

The weather was good, and the tour proceeded smoothly. All of the guests had PASMO or Mobile Suica, so we confirmed how to use them and got started. In Asakusa it was still early, and many shops had not yet opened, but there were already quite a lot of people. I explained the history and buildings of Senso-ji Temple and answered questions about religion. At the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace, I was asked questions about the buildings. Since the guests had already seen ordinary nishikigoi carp in Asakusa, they were delighted to see the long-finned nishikigoi carp. After a lunch of soba, we went to Hamarikyu, but everywhere there were quite a number of international travelers. At Meiji Shrine there were many wedding ceremonies and Shichi-Go-San visits, and the guests enjoyed taking photographs. We parted ways on the train back from Shibuya. I received a tip.
