What Is a Private Temple and Shrine Tour in Fukuoka Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests spent a little less time at each spot, partly because getting in and out of the car took some time and because the route to the elevators involved some detours. Since I had checked the locations of the elevators and accessible restrooms in advance, including the flow of movement, getting around went smoothly. At the shrines and temples, the guests asked many questions with great interest. In particular, concepts such as the 108 earthly desires in Buddhism and the sacred ox in Shinto seemed to resonate with their own beliefs, and they found these topics very intriguing. The guests also had a strong interest in food, and at Canal City they tried various sweets and bought plenty of confectionery and other items as souvenirs. A notable stop on the tour was Canal City Hakata, a large shopping and entertainment complex in Fukuoka. It is well known for its curved architecture built along a canal that runs through the center of the complex, and it features shops, restaurants, cinemas, and regular fountain shows that draw many visitors. The complex is a popular destination for those looking to combine shopping, dining, and entertainment in one place.

I am a licensed guide interpreter with two years of working experience. My main area is Fukuoka city and surrounding regions. I’m specialized in the history and cultural exploration.
Fukuoka had developed as a gateway to the rest of Asia in the ancient times and it retains historically valuable structures/monuments throughout the city. Its charms also include activities in the rich nature(the region is surrounded by mountains and the sea)and distinctive food culture such as ramen and Yatai food stalls. I have been living in Fukuoka for 20 years. Among several cities I have lived or stayed in before, Fukuoka is the best place with rich nature, history, exciting urban areas and excellent cuisine.
Let me help you explore hidden gems through my tour!
