What Is a Private History and Culture Walking Tour in Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were visiting from Europe. They appeared in the lobby with warm smiles about ten minutes before our scheduled meeting time at the hotel. They walked at a brisk pace, which made getting around by train very smooth as well. Since the guests had planned their destinations and time allocation in advance and had requested that the tour include Japanese history and culture, I devoted much of our time to topics such as the transition from the Edo period to the Meiji era, in line with their wishes. The guests listened with great interest throughout.
