Title: What Is a Private Tour of Tokyo Like for Guests from Europe? A Licensed Guide's Report on Tsukiji, Kappabashi, and Asakusa

The guests were visitors from Europe. They had already retired and were enjoying a relaxed lifestyle, traveling to various countries, sometimes by cruise. At first one of the guests seemed somewhat reserved, but as we chatted and exchanged some jokes along the way, they laughed heartily. One of the guests was a professional cook, and they looked with great interest at the ingredients at Tsukiji and the cooking utensils at Kappabashi. At Kappabashi, they purchased a frying pan for making rolled omelets as well as several cooking tools, and were very pleased. Since I had been informed of a dietary preference, I asked what they would like to eat and guided them to a long-established steakhouse in Asakusa. The chef was very considerate, offering wonderful individual care by avoiding seasonings that contained wheat and instead seasoning the dishes simply with salt and pepper. The tour ran a little over time toward the end, but since there was still time before dinner and the guests expressed a wish to visit the observation deck of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, I guided them from Shinjuku Station to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, where the tour concluded. I gave them a pair of chopsticks as a souvenir, and they were very delighted. Overall, I believe the guests were very satisfied.
