What Is a Private Tokyo Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on the Imperial Palace East Gardens and Asakusa
The guests were cheerful visitors from North America. Their Tokyo tour spanned three days, and although they had originally hoped to have the same guide throughout, three different guides were assigned, and I was responsible for the second day. They mentioned an interest in history, so we visited the Imperial Palace East Gardens. The previous day, the bridge at Otemon Gate had been flooded, so they apparently had to enter through a different gate, but on this day we were able to enter through Otemon Gate, and it was fortunate that the weather had also improved. The greenery was beautiful, and they listened attentively to my explanations. Afterward, we went to Asakusa, where they enjoyed buying souvenirs along Nakamise and taking photos of the buildings. They said they could spend an entire day in Asakusa. We then returned to the hotel. Everything concluded smoothly and they seemed to enjoy themselves, which was wonderful. A notable stop on the tour was the Imperial Palace East Gardens. These gardens are part of the former grounds of Edo Castle and are open to the public, offering a peaceful landscape of lawns, historic stone walls, and the remains of the castle keep. The area reflects centuries of Japanese history and is a popular spot for those interested in the Edo period and traditional garden design.

We had an absolutely wonderful day with Fumiko and Nino. We saw all the sights we wanted to see in Tokyo. Nino was able to move us efficiently through the city dropping of at the various sights and picking us up without waiting! Nino’s vehicle was comfortable and absolutely spotless. Fumiko reach out to us via email and made up an itinerary that was perfect for our time schedule she is a true professional! We highly recommend this tour and you could not find a better guide and driver combination than Fumiko and Nino.

We had a great time on our tour. Our guide, Fumiko, was very good. She contavted us about two weeks before the tour so she could customize the activities. She was incredibly helpful during all of the planning. She met us at our meering poit with a sign that had identified her, which made the start of the tour easy. Thw tour itself was awesome. She gave good insight about all the locations that we visited. I highly recommend her for any tours.

Mrs. fumiko was very kind, calm and lovely person. She give us a introduction before entering to the different places. She also help us to get the suica card and translate at specifics times around the city. We really enjoy the peaceful energy of mrs. fumiko.
