What Is a Private Hakone Day Tour Like from Lake Ashi? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were very cheerful and easygoing. The natural scenery, so different from where they live in Oceania, was a real highlight. It made perfect sense that they chose Senjogataki Falls as one of their destinations, though to me, having grown up in the countryside, it looked like just a somewhat dense forest. Also, setting out early today paid off, as even a small glimpse of Mount Fuji was visible from Owakudani, for which they were very grateful. At Donburi Chaya, they enjoyed and finished the pork cutlet curry rice bowl they had requested, and at Maruyama Bussan they enjoyed the presentation before purchasing a puzzle box. From the pirate ship, Mount Fuji appeared once again. After confirming that they were comfortable returning on their own from Togendai along the same route as in the morning, I disembarked at Motohakone Port.
