Title: What Is a Private Guided Tour of Koyasan Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were a group visiting from Europe. The weather was sunny, but as it was a little hot, we walked in the shade as much as possible, and toward the end of the tour the temperature rose, so we went inside the buildings of Kongobuji Temple to avoid the heat. Since the starting point of the tour was the temple lodging Fudoin, I explained about the Mausoleum of Bifukumonin, which is located beside the grounds of Fudoin and managed by the Imperial Household Agency. After that, at Okunoin, it happened to be the timing of the Shojinku offering ceremony at 10:30 in the morning, so the guests were able to watch it at a relaxed pace. It was a four-hour guided tour starting at 9:00 in the morning, and I believe I was able to convey an overall picture of Koyasan. At the Danjo Garan, I took a photo with the guests in front of the Konpon Daito pagoda, and as they gave their consent for promotional use, I am sending the guest image.

Opening your heart to the wonders of Japan.
Naka, was an amazing tour guide. He truly made me feel like I understood the heart of Japan sacredness. His attention to us was truly unmatched. Mt Koya and its history was stunning. It gave me the peace of mind that I was looking for in Japan. Attending the fire ceremony was a one of a kind experience. Thank you Naka, for your wonderful guidance through the beautiful history and religion of Japan.

Tripadvisor review: Mt. Koya Sacred 4hr Private Tour with Government Licensed Guide
