What Is a Private Family Tour of Takayama and Hida Folk Village Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
I guided a group of guests. One of the guests in particular had a strong interest in Japan and asked many questions about history, religion, craftsmanship, and industry. The rest of the group also listened with great interest, and we were able to complete the tour very smoothly. In the latter half of the tour at Hida Folk Village, one of the guests seemed tired and went to a rest area for a while, but returned when it was time to head back. I checked with the group about whether it was fine to continue the tour before proceeding. Regarding meals, one guest was vegetarian. The guests mentioned that they would be visiting Sapporo toward the end of their trip, and said they were considering joining a tour there as well.
