What Is an Evening Private Tour of Shinjuku, Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were a group visiting from North America. I guided them smoothly according to the itinerary we had agreed upon in advance. The weather was fine and conditions were comfortable. Unlike a typical tour, this one started at 3:00 in the afternoon, and since the guests wished to experience the city of Tokyo, especially its energy at night, we designed the tour around lively, vibrant spots. As the guests wanted to enjoy Japanese wagyu beef at a reasonable price for dinner, I took them to a wagyu yakiniku restaurant in Shinjuku, which they thoroughly enjoyed. In the evening I guided them through Kabukicho, Golden Gai, and Omoide Yokocho, and finally saw them off in a taxi back to their hotel, ending the tour.
