- 4. 12:20～13:00 Take the Yamanote Line from Shimbashi to Shibuya
- 5. 13:00~13:45 @ Shibuya (Scramble Crossing, Center Gai, Pokemon Center)
- 6. 13:45～14:30 Lunch @ Keika Shibuya Center Gai branch
- 7. 14:30～14:40 Take the Yamanote Line to Harajuku
- 8. 14:40 ~15:30 @ Meiji Shrine
- 9. 15:30～16:00 Take the subway to Nezu
- 10.16:00~16:30 @ Nezu Shrine
- 11. 16:40～17:00 @ Yanaka Ginza
- 12. 17:00 Disband @ Nippori Station
What Is a Private Full-Day Tokyo Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Shibuya, Meiji Shrine, and Yanaka
The guests were a group visiting from North America. The members of the group were all composed, refined, and very pleasant people. Because we had finalized the itinerary in advance through email exchanges, the day proceeded smoothly. Since I had received specific requests such as Shibuya, Meiji Shrine, the Yanaka-Nezu-Sendagi area, and a ramen lunch, it was easy to plan the route.
At Hamarikyu Gardens, the guests showed great interest in its history dating back to the Edo period. They enjoyed the Keika ramen in Shibuya, saying it was delicious, and they were able to avoid the crowds in the Yanaka-Nezu-Sendagi area, so it seemed to be a very memorable and enjoyable day.
I also explained how to use the subway and JR lines, so although we parted ways at Nippori at the end, the guests had no trouble returning to their accommodation on their own. (After we parted, it seems they enjoyed shopping at Yanaka Ginza.)
They also gave a wonderful review, so I believe they were satisfied overall.

We had a great time. Our guide Meiji “May” made our day memorable. Excellent sites and great food, May is very knowledgeable of the sites, has very good English and had very nice details during the tour. Ahh and he has all the nice spots for pictures identified. The restaurant he took us for lunch was excellent, we tried an amazing hoto udon.

We had an incredible time exploring Tokyo with our guide, May! He was friendly, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable, making every stop interesting with fascinating stories and local insights. His enthusiasm for Tokyo was contagious, and he really helped us curate this tour to fit our interests and make it our own.
The tour was well organized and included a great mix of iconic sights and hidden gems that we never would have discovered on our own. May also shared excellent recommendations for restaurants, shopping, and things to do after the tour, which made the rest of our stay even better. He even remembered that we were celebrating our honeymoon and helped us celebrate in a very memorable way, making the tour that much more special.
