What Is a Private Hiroshima and Miyajima Tour Like on a Rainy Day? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were a group visiting from Oceania. The trip to Japan came about at the strong request of some of the guests, and they came to Hiroshima because they felt the whole group should learn about the history of Hiroshima. Since it was raining heavily that day, I spontaneously suggested going up Orizuru Tower, partly to take shelter from the rain, and once we got to the top, the guests were moved, saying, "This is a breathtaking view, it's amazing." Some of the guests loved going down by the slide and tried it many times. On Miyajima, perhaps because of the rain and the low tide, the ground was muddy, and there was a bit of trouble as feet got caught and shoes got wet, but we dealt with it using a towel we had brought. I ended the tour with the hope that the next generation would become messengers of peace. In their thank-you email afterward, they wrote that everyone was very satisfied, which was a great relief.
