Title: What Is a Private Hiroshima Tour Like for Guests Visiting from Europe? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were visiting from Europe. During the tour, communication was assisted so that everything could be conveyed clearly. Despite these circumstances, the guests showed a strong interest in the atomic bombing and the devastation of Hiroshima, carefully touring the exhibits at the museum. Since walking was difficult for part of the group, I stayed close throughout, while another member of the group moved separately to take photographs. At Shukkeien Garden, the group seemed to enjoy the greenery and the carp. While I guided part of the group around the various spots, another member of the group spent time reading. I was relieved to complete the tour without any falls or health issues. We traveled by taxi throughout the tour.

Hiroshima Tour with Yoshi
Yoshi was truly one of the highlights of our entire trip. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond—meeting us at the station and making everything feel effortless and perfectly organized.
She is incredibly knowledgeable, especially about Hiroshima’s history. What made the experience even more special is that her perspective comes from someone who was born and raised there. Hearing the stories, details, and context directly from her added a level of depth and authenticity that you simply cannot get otherwise.
Beyond her knowledge, Yoshi is just a beautiful human being—kind, warm, and genuinely caring. Spending the day with her felt like a hug to the heart. She made us feel comfortable, cared for, and fully present in such a meaningful place.
She guided us through every site with perfect timing and intention, making sure we experienced everything without ever feeling rushed.
If you are visiting Hiroshima, I cannot recommend Yoshi enough. Seeing the city through her eyes is something truly unforgettable.
