Title: What Is a Private Day Tour of Kyoto's Arashiyama and Sagano Bamboo Grove Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were visiting from North America. The summer sun was strong and the temperature was high, so I advised them to stay hydrated. Perhaps because it was a Sunday, there were relatively few school excursion groups today. The bamboo grove in Sagano was in the season when the leaves change over, and many old leaves had fallen to the ground, making the grove brighter. As you can see in the attached photo, the upper part is sparse, the blue sky is visible, and sunlight reaches the path. Since the guests mentioned they would not have lunch, the schedule was a little tight, but we were able to complete everything within the time.
