What Is a Private One-Day Hakone Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guest was a visitor from Europe traveling solo, who had long dreamed of coming to Japan, and throughout the day it was clear how much they loved the country. Perhaps because it was a Friday, everything from the mountain railway to the ropeway stayed crowded, which was unusual for a weekday. Many of the eateries around the Togendai area were closed, but we finally found one where we could get a table. It was a shame that clouds covered the sky and we were never able to see Mount Fuji, but the guest dedicated an ema votive tablet at the shrine and thoroughly enjoyed strolling around each of the spots we visited.

Nous sommes particulièrement ravis de cette journée d’excursion autour d’Hakone et du Mont-Fuji avec notre guide Ryosuke. We really enjoyed this tour. Leo, our guide, was very knowledgeable regarding the culture and history of each site we visited. And for lunch he found a delicious authentic Ramen counter restaurant. It was a really nice day with great memories.
