Title: What Does a Private Day Tour of Tokyo Include? A Licensed Guide's Report on Meiji Shrine, Asakusa, and the Imperial Palace

The guest was a visitor from Europe. At Meiji Shrine, I began by giving an overview of Japanese history, the difference between shrines and temples, and the origins of Meiji Shrine, offering explanations at key points along the way before we paid our respects at the main hall. There were not many people around the Hachiko statue or the scramble crossing, so we were able to take photos at each spot. Next, in Asakusa, after explaining an overview of the area at the culture and tourism center, we walked from Kaminarimon through the Nakamise shopping street, where the guest enjoyed sampling kibi dango, buying souvenirs, and strolling around, and we paid our respects at the main hall. After lunch, we moved to the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace, where I talked about the Edo shogunate, the feudal lords, and Edo Castle as we walked, and in the end the guest was deeply impressed by the wonderful scenery of the Japanese garden. After that, we moved to Nihonbashi, took photos at the foot of the bridge, and ended the tour.
