Title: What's a Private One-Day Kyoto Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Fushimi Inari, Kinkaku-ji, and Arashiyama
The guests were a group visiting from North America. We started nearly 30 minutes behind schedule. At Fushimi Inari Taisha, the Omokaru-ishi stones were very crowded, so unfortunately the guests were not able to try lifting them, but they were able to pray at the Neagari no Matsu pine. We then moved on to Nishiki Market, where the guests had a meal that also served as lunch. They bought some souvenirs and seemed satisfied. At Kinkaku-ji, they seemed amazed by its beauty and gorgeousness. We went to the Bamboo Grove Path, where I gave an explanation about the bamboo forest. One of the guests had a nosebleed, which was startling, but it did not turn into anything serious and I was relieved. Since we still had a little time on the way back, thanks to the kindness of the driver we saw the Rakan statues and Togetsukyo Bridge before returning to the Hachijo exit of Kyoto Station.

Great visit with a great guide Harumi
Harumi was a fantastic guide – very friendly and very knowledgeable. Even weeks before the tour, her communication was outstanding, asking me what we would be interested in seeing, ages and interests of the members in our party, and laying out a thoughtful and perfect itinerary for our day. Her knowledge made our visit to Himeji Castle way more interesting and engaging than if we had just gone by ourselves. We would definitely book again!

Amazing guided experience
Harumi is an amazing guide. Knows everything about the sites she takes you to. She is excellent with kids and even brought them oregami and treats. The heat was a bit oppressive and we were so glad we paid for the driver with a large and clean air conditioned van. Harumi, the guide, was a true professional. She devised a very good itinerary and was also flexible when the kids were hungry, etc. Would highly recommend.
