Title: What Is a Private Hakone Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were visitors from Europe. It was early in their trip to Japan, and jet lag was still lingering, so some of the guests were feeling tired. Although it was a weekend, it was just after a holiday period, so all forms of public transportation were uncrowded, allowing for very comfortable travel throughout the day. The guests enjoyed the classic activities such as the black eggs and the cruise. From the bus ride after visiting Hakone Shrine through the walk around the Hakone Open-Air Museum, the guests were showing signs of fatigue, so in hindsight it might have been better to include a break at a café and switch to a lighter stroll through the gardens. At the end of the tour, the guests expressed their gratitude, and I felt that they were satisfied overall.

Hello! I’m Ryosuke—please call me Leo.
I’d love to help you create great memories in Japan, especially around Tokyo and my hometown, Hiroshima.

I once traveled 44,000 km by bicycle across four continents (every continent except Australia!). There’s a chance I might even have passed through your hometown. Through that journey, I learned not only how wonderful travel can be, but also the things travelers should watch out for.

With that experience, I’m sure I can help make your trip smoother and more enjoyable.
Let’s have a great time exploring Japan together!
