What Can You See on a One-Day Private Tour of Tokyo? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were visiting from North America. They planned to join a seven-day Japanese garden tour starting from Kyoto, and wanted to broaden their knowledge of Tokyo beforehand.

To begin introducing them to Japanese culture, I first took them to the Tsukiji Outer Market and to Nijubashi Bridge in front of the Imperial Palace. At Tsukiji, they were amazed by a fish market of a scale they had never seen before. At the Imperial Palace, I explained about the Imperial Family and the history of the palace since the days of Edo Castle, and they marveled at the vast green space in the very center of Tokyo.

At Meiji Shrine, we were fortunate enough to see two wedding ceremonies taking place, which delighted them greatly.

Finally, we headed to the Shibuya Crossing. Having experienced so many things all at once, they said they were "overwhelmed by the dynamism of Tokyo."

Hello and welcome to Tokyo!

I have been working for business with American companies for many years. I have many experiences guiding customers from around the world in Japan and taking Japanese customers to the USA and Europe.

I now have a national license as a guiding interpreter, and I want to introduce the unique gigantic city of Tokyo and the traditional Japanese culture, which is not shown in the guidebooks, to people worldwide who are interested in it. In addition, I want to introduce various Japanese foods you can enjoy only in Japan.
Unique experiences such as the Sumo Training Viewing and Tea Ceremony are optionally available.
Depending on your preference and itinerary, I can guide you in Tokyo, Kamakura, and Hakone so that you can enjoy your time in Japan.
