What's a Private Tokyo Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Asakusa, Meiji Shrine, and Shinjuku Gyoen

The guests were a friendly group visiting from North America. On a trip of about 40 days, they had already traveled to other parts of Asia before touring Osaka, Kyoto, Okinawa, and Kobe, and had visited Mount Fuji the day before. They planned to return home the next day. At Asakusa, they were interested in its history and architecture, and remarked that the five-story pagoda and other structures were very impressive. At Meiji Shrine, they said the surrounding forest and the buildings were beautiful, and took photographs. On Takeshita Street, they enjoyed a completely different atmosphere, and for lunch they had sushi, saying the tuna was very delicious. Finally, we went to Shinjuku Gyoen, and although we caught a little rain, they said the Japanese garden was beautiful and that it was wonderful to find such a place in the middle of the city. After that, we went to the hotel and ended the tour. I believe they enjoyed themselves.
