Title: What Is a Private Half-Day Kobe Tour Like from a Cruise Ship? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were a group visiting from North America. Everyone was very cheerful and listened attentively to my explanation about the earthquake disaster. The group climbed the Port Tower, where they received a half-price admission. At Minatogawa Shrine, the guests purchased zodiac charms, and I shared the story of "kanreki," the Japanese tradition in which people are said to return to being a baby at age 60. When I told them they were all teenagers, they were delighted. We took the train from Kobe Station to Motomachi, and when the guests realized it was a women-only car, they asked many questions, such as why it existed and whether they were allowed to ride it, which they seemed to find very interesting. In Nankinmachi (Chinatown), they asked why there were so many people and why others were lining up and waiting. Everyone enjoyed drinking beer together and had a lively time, then walked back to the ship. Since the ship's departure was scheduled for 13:30, the request was to finish the tour by 12:30.
