Title: What Is a Private Kyoto Walking Tour with a Licensed Guide Like? A Guide's Report on Nishiki Market
I served as an interpreter guide for the group. During our prior communication, I had been informed that some of the guests preferred vegetarian meals and that some ate fish. When we met, I learned that the group lived in Oceania. During the tour, the guests preferred meals without meat, so we looked for suitable dining options. While walking along Shijo Street toward Nishiki Market, the guests spotted a restaurant offering vegetarian spaghetti, and we decided to have lunch there. After guiding them through Nishiki Market, I had thought about walking them back from Nishiki Market to their Hotel, but since the guests wished to stay around the Nishiki Market area, we concluded the guided tour there.

There are SO many choices to make in Kyoto but for us, sadly only enough time for a few. Our guide was Keiko Ibuki. She contacted us as soon as the booking was confirmed to make suggestions for different itineraries. She did a fantastic job of narrating our chosen visited spots. Additionally, we were trying to make it to another city after our tour, and Keiko walked us into the train station to assist us in getting our tickets so we could make the train. Then she followed up to make sure we made it to our destination! Anytime we had questions, she was happy to answer. Also, she was very pleasant. Thank you, Keiko!

Our tour guide Keiko was great. She stuck with us ensuring we had a great experience. She
was very flexible and accommodating our changing itinerary. Great tour but very tiring.
