- 9:30 Meet at Seiouro
- 10:00 Kinkaku-ji
- 11:20 Arashiyama (Bamboo Grove, Tenryu-ji, Togetsukyo Bridge)
- 12:50 Lunch near Kiyomizu-dera
- 13:30 Kiyomizu-dera
- 14:45 Gion
- 15:30 End at Kawaramachi
Tour Itinerary in Detail
The tour started at 9:30 at Seiouro and ended at 15:30. The day ran to 6 hours from start to finish. It included lunch near Kiyomizu-dera at 12:50.
Over the course of the day the route took in Kinkaku-ji at 10:00, Arashiyama (Bamboo Grove, Tenryu-ji, Togetsukyo Bridge) at 11:20, Kiyomizu-dera at 13:30 and Gion at 14:45.
What Is a Private Kyoto Family Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were a group visiting from Europe. They spoke their native language among themselves. The itinerary progressed smoothly without any traffic. Since the group wished to visit the Nintendo shop in the Takashimaya department store at the end, we concluded the tour in the Kawaramachi area. For lunch, I guided them to a noodle restaurant. As one of the guests preferred not to have pork, they chose beef udon and enjoyed it. The driver was also very cooperative, which was greatly appreciated.

Excellent guide and support
Kuni-san was an excellent guide and very friendly and knowledgable. Kuni-san greatly assisted with meeting one of our family member medical needs on the day and was very helpful in supporting us and changing the itinerary and assisting our family member.
I would HIGHLY recommend Kuni-san as a guide and this tour defintely met our needs as a group of 4.

Kuni was amazing as our private tour guide! Before the tour, he reached out to ask about the specific itinerary we wanted to do. He took into consideration all of our thoughts. The tour was amazing. He was very informative and it was very special to see all of the sites. Would recommend highly!
