What Is a Private Kyoto Tour with a Licensed Guide Like? A Guide's Report

The guests were visiting from North America. Since I thought the slopes up to Kiyomizu-dera Temple might be tiring, I explained the route, and the guests requested that we avoid uphill climbs, so I changed the plan and substituted Nijo Castle instead. One of the guests enjoyed photography and took many photos along the way. The guests were both calm and very easy to get along with. At Nijo Castle, there are often questions about why there is no furniture, so I had researched the reason in advance, and today that question came up again, so I was glad I could answer it. Finally, I took them to Nishiki Market before we parted ways.
