What Can You See on a Private Kyoto Tour in Spring? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were visitors from Europe. When I explained the many kinds of flowers in bloom, they were very pleased. In particular, the peonies within the grounds of Kenninji Temple were in full bloom, and the guests, who grow peonies in their own garden, took many photographs of the peonies around the Dharma Hall. The bamboo grove in Sagano was in the period when old and new leaves were being replaced, so it looked a bit sparse, but the garden at Tenryuji Temple was beautiful with its rhododendrons. The guests were very refined, and it was a meaningful time for me as well.
